In our near four decades of serving healthcare organizations and providers of all shapes and sizes, we have surpassed a few milestones. 

Past

1989

The Rybar Group is founded with purpose of providing financial and reimbursement support to healthcare providers. The company began with its founder, Ron Rybar and a single associate to assist with administrative and operational related needs. The initial office was located in Flint, Michigan.

1990

The company grows, adding additional associates and moving its headquarters to Fenton, Michigan.

In a pivotal move, The Rybar Group embarked on expanding its service offering, securing the resources of Coding and HIM experts to bolster its capabilities.

The Rybar Group continues to expand its offering, adding Patient Financial Services and Medicare Bad Debt experts to its team.

Moved to a new, larger office location to accommodate growing team.

1999

The Rybar Group begins offering financial consulting and reimbursement support to physician offices.

Working with legal firms, The Rybar Group launches its Litigation Support service line.

Crossed the $2M mark in Gross Revenues

2004

The Rybar Group launches its Volume Decrease Adjustment service line, securing over $137,325,000 in hospital benefit through over 140 VDA requests to date and with over $200 million in hospital benefit pending decision.

Fall 2006

The Rybar Group launches its Blue Cross Blue Shield Revenue Strategies service line, concurrent with the hiring of a former senior BCBS analyst

In order to accommodate the additional growth of the organization and the need for additional space, The Rybar Group moves its headquarters to a larger office location in Fenton.

Became an independent member of the BDO Alliance USA. This move allows The Rybar Group to offer our clients the value of working with a small, boutique firm while having access to the national experience and knowledge of BDO and the other Alliance members.

The Rybar Group plays a crucial role in assisting healthcare organizations in navigating the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Expand services to provide strategic guidance on items such as Provider Relief Funds and Employee Retention Credits
